At the parting of souls, garlands of leaves and stalks are bound around the departed's hands and feet.

Gave birth to The Grand Story that tells us all souls are bound together from those Times to these.

This noble tree encourages memories of these Times and of our venerable Ancestors (all one unending Memory, it is said) to come to the light and to guide Mortals to peace and enlightenment by opening the arches to shared lives past & present and, for those with the Third Eye open, to enter also the Times not yet come. The sacred tree blesses all who contemplate beneath its leaves by drawing shade about them in the days of torpor, wrapping them in warmth when Terra cools.
