A Nabilian who seeks forgiveness from one he has wronged, placeds one eye-shaped leaf from the magic vine peccori oculosas on each eyelid of his suffering victim. He then chants from sunrise to sunset to the Spirits of the vine, beseeching them to remove the stain he has placed on the soul of Another. However, the leaves must be the first of the vine and the remorse truly and deeply felt before the harm can be expunged forever.
